Through our independent press, Del Vaz Projects designs and publishes art books that constellate around the non-profit’s expansive exhibitions and public programs—infusing academic rigor with creative authorship, archival discovery, and visual practice. Each publication is the result of a collaboration between artists, scholars, innovators, estates, galleries, and museums whose unique, contemporary criticism offers expanded perspectives and meaningful dialogues for both our Los Angeles community and an international audience. Our recent publications include Earthshaker (2025), Nonmemory (2024), Nightmare Bathroom (2023), Shell (2022), Technologies of the Self (2021), and forthcoming in 2026: Cocktails in Heaven, a book an art book co-published with Shandaken Projects, featuring the first extensive portfolio of the artist’s drawings ever published, along with photographs of Zanzabar by the renowned Tim Street-Porter.
