The Los Angeles Coastal Gallery Collective is a collection of seven dynamic art spaces situated along the coastal westside of Los Angeles, comprised of artist-run projects, non-profits, and commercial galleries . Included on the map are two art fairs; Frieze LA and Post-Fair. LACGC is organized by Del Vaz Projects, in order to reflect the vibrant and diverse community of art spaces along the city's coast.

From the historical L.A. Louver, 18th Street Arts Center, and Craig Krull Gallery, to the longtime westsiders such as Del Vaz Projects and Long Play Contemporary, to newer additions in recent years, Zodiac Pictures and Meier St/, venues range from conventional galleries to more alternative and domestic spaces.

For more information, please see below and visit each gallery's website.

Del Vaz Projects is a non-profit art space based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2014 by Jay Ezra Nayssan in a home-turned-artists space in Santa Monica—and accredited as a 501(c)(3) in 2021—Del Vaz Projects mounts exhibitions, produces publications, and stages programs centering visual art, performance work, and moving-image media. Named after the Persian phrase دست و دلباز (dæst ō del bāz), meaning openhanded and openhearted, our approach is intentional, relational, and resourceful. We collaborate with artists across generations and geographies to manifest projects in our space and throughout our city’s cultural and historical institutions—with each endeavor, infusing diverse environments with a sense of collective intimacy, intellectual inquiry, and expressive invention.

Post-Fair is the pilot edition of an alternative three-day art fair. Low cost to the galleries and the visitor, it seeks to simplify the art fair experience by focusing on solo presentations in an iconic venue with a relatively low impact, open plan format. Its name is inspired by its conceit as an alternative to the status quo and by its unique location, which is a disused, art deco post office built in 1938. The fair will feature 29 local, national and international galleries and project spaces.
